We also have experienced operators that understand the challenges of towing large vehicles.
In the following article, we’ll take a closer look at some of the different types of RVs and motorhomes. If you know what class your vehicle is when you call, we’ll know what type of equipment we need to send!
The Main Types of RVs and Motorhomes!
- Class A – Recreational vehicles are built on large trucks or bus chassis. They may contain slide-outs which creates additional room inside the vehicles when parked. Class A RVs truly are homes on wheels with large living spaces and kitchen and bathroom facilities.
- Class B – Recreational vehicles are a little smaller in both size and how much space they have. Vehicles in this Class may be smaller, but they do have some advantages. They’re cheaper to maintain and run and can get into many places large Class A vehicles can’t.
- Class C – Recreational vehicles fall somewhere between Class A and Class B. They usually have an overhanging living or sleeping area and sit on a van or truck chassis.
- Other Types of RVs – As well as the above, you also have truck campers, pop-up campers, and travel trailers. All have their own advantages and disadvantages.
Best Towing Company in Colorado
Recovering large vehicles such as RVs can be difficult at the best of times. RVs have a low clearance, and their added weight and length make any towing challenging even to experienced operators.
