If the police have impounded your car, you need to ensure that you have the following before it is released:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Passport, military ID card, state-issued ID card.
- Proof of Ownership in the form of Vehicle title, Vehicle Registration, Bill of Sale or Valid Insurance policy
- Pay all fees either in Cash, Visa, or MasterCard.
- If a “Hold” has been placed on your car, you need a release form from that agency.
